“I’m happy with this company for so many reasons. Mainly because I don’t even have to think about it. We have so much to handle at the fire station. We call them when needed and they take care of everything accumulated from our runs and people dropping off their needles and medicine.”

Understanding California’s Regulatory Requirements
The management of regulated medical waste in California is governed by the Medical Waste Management Act, which outlines strict guidelines for the segregation, labeling, storage, and disposal of materials like sharps, red bag waste, pathological waste, and pharmaceuticals.
Healthcare providers in Hawthorne must ensure full compliance with these rules, which include maintaining proper documentation, using approved containers, and following specific disposal methods. To help guide providers, the California Department of Public Health offers regulatory details, forms, and FAQs that clarify responsibilities for waste generators.

What’s the difference between a contract and a service agreement?
While your price for service is guaranteed for 12 months, you are never locked into a contract. Our service agreement is a document that details the services that MedWaste will provide along with the price that you can expect to pay.
It is not a locked contract, and you may cancel or change services at anytime without fees, penalties or damages. See a sample of the MedWaste service agreement that is currently in use here.
When do you bill for the service and how can invoices be paid?
MedWaste will send an invoice at month’s end for all services performed and products delivered during that month.
The invoice is due 15 days after its receipt. You will be asked if you’d like to receive your invoices through email or regular mail. All invoices can be paid with credit card or check.
