Pathological Waste Disposal: Customized Solutions with MedWaste Management
Pathology waste, which includes human tissues, organs, and body parts removed during surgical procedures or autopsies, poses significant challenges for healthcare facilities. Effective disposal of this type of waste is not only crucial for maintaining hygiene and preventing infections but also for ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards. MedWaste Management, a leading medical waste disposal company serving all of California, offers specialized pathology waste disposal services tailored to meet the unique needs of healthcare providers.
Understanding Pathology Waste
Pathological waste is a distinct category of medical waste that requires meticulous handling and disposal. This type of waste includes:
- Human tissues and organs: Removed during surgical procedures.
- Body parts: Generated from surgeries and autopsies.
- Specimens: From biopsies and other medical examinations.
Due to the potential risk of infection and contamination, it is essential that pathological waste is managed with the highest standards of safety and compliance.

“I’m happy with this company for so many reasons. Mainly because I don’t even have to think about it. We have so much to handle at the fire station. We call them when needed and they take care of everything accumulated from our runs and people dropping off their needles and medicine.”

Will the price change?
Your price is guaranteed for 12 months from when you start services.
● You are never locked into a contract.
● You can change or cancel services at any time, without penalties or fees with a written notice.
● After 12 months, we have the right to increase pricing, with 30-day advance written notice.
● Any new pricing will be guaranteed for another 12 months.
● Price increases are not automatic or planned and are made on a case-by-case basis. In most cases, prices are not increased for a number of years.
● Our pricing for services is based on your location, the type of waste that you are generating, and how often you need services.
What’s the difference between a contract and a service agreement?
While your price for service is guaranteed for 12 months, you are never locked into a contract. Our service agreement is a document that details the services that MedWaste will provide along with the price that you can expect to pay.
It is not a locked contract, and you may cancel or change services at anytime without fees, penalties or damages. See a sample of the MedWaste service agreement that is currently in use here.
When do you bill for the service and how can invoices be paid?
MedWaste will send an invoice at month’s end for all services performed and products delivered during that month.
The invoice is due 15 days after its receipt. You will be asked if you’d like to receive your invoices through email or regular mail. All invoices can be paid with credit card or check.
Enroll in Autopay by completing and submitting an authorization form or by enrolling through your accounts online portal.
