Sharps Waste Disposal and MedWaste Management.
Sharps Waste Disposal: Ensuring Safety and Compliance with MedWaste Management. Handling sharps waste is one of the most critical aspects of medical waste management. Sharps waste, which includes any medical waste that can puncture, such as needles or blades, requires meticulous handling and disposal to ensure the safety of healthcare workers, patients, and the environment. MedWaste Management, a trusted medical waste disposal company serving all of California, excels in providing top-tier sharps waste disposal services.
What is Sharps Waste?
Sharps waste encompasses any items that can puncture or cut skin and are used in medical procedures. Common examples include:
- Needles: Used for injections and blood draws.
- Syringes: Often found in hospitals and clinics.
- Scalpels: Utilized in surgical procedures.
- Blades: Found in various medical and laboratory settings.
- Lancets: Used for blood sugar testing.
Improper disposal of these items can lead to serious health risks, including needle-stick injuries and potential infections. Therefore, it’s essential that sharps waste is managed with the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Will the price change?
Your price is guaranteed for 12 months from when you start services.
● You are never locked into a contract.
● You can change or cancel services at any time, without penalties or fees with a written notice.
● After 12 months, we have the right to increase pricing, with 30-day advance written notice.
● Any new pricing will be guaranteed for another 12 months.
● Price increases are not automatic or planned and are made on a case-by-case basis. In most cases, prices are not increased for a number of years.
● Our pricing for services is based on your location, the type of waste that you are generating, and how often you need services.
What’s the difference between a contract and a service agreement?
While your price for service is guaranteed for 12 months, you are never locked into a contract. Our service agreement is a document that details the services that MedWaste will provide along with the price that you can expect to pay.
It is not a locked contract, and you may cancel or change services at anytime without fees, penalties or damages. See a sample of the MedWaste service agreement that is currently in use here.
When do you bill for the service and how can invoices be paid?
MedWaste will send an invoice at month’s end for all services performed and products delivered during that month.
The invoice is due 15 days after its receipt. You will be asked if you’d like to receive your invoices through email or regular mail. All invoices can be paid with credit card or check.
Enroll in Autopay by completing and submitting an authorization form or by enrolling through your accounts online portal.
