“I’m happy with this company for so many reasons. Mainly because I don’t even have to think about it. We have so much to handle at the fire station. We call them when needed and they take care of everything accumulated from our runs and people dropping off their needles and medicine.”

Compliance with State Regulations in California
Medical waste generators in San Marcos are subject to California’s Medical Waste Management Act, which outlines strict standards for waste categorization, storage, transportation, and treatment. These laws are enforced to protect both the environment and public safety.
Facilities must segregate different types of waste (such as sharps, red bag waste, and pharmaceuticals), use compliant containers, maintain proper labeling, and ensure documentation is accurate and current. Staying compliant is not only a legal responsibility but also a professional one.
For businesses seeking to understand California’s regulations more thoroughly, the California Department of Public Health provides an excellent FAQ and resource section for medical waste generators.

It is not a locked contract, and you may cancel or change services at anytime without fees, penalties or damages. See a sample of the MedWaste service agreement that is currently in use here.
When do you bill for the service and how can invoices be paid?
MedWaste will send an invoice at month’s end for all services performed and products delivered during that month.
The invoice is due 15 days after its receipt. You will be asked if you’d like to receive your invoices through email or regular mail. All invoices can be paid with credit card or check.
