“I’m happy with this company for so many reasons. Mainly because I don’t even have to think about it. We have so much to handle at the fire station. We call them when needed and they take care of everything accumulated from our runs and people dropping off their needles and medicine.”

El Monte, often referred to as “The End of the Santa Fe Trail,” has historical roots dating back to the 18th century as a vital stop for settlers traveling westward. The city is surrounded by other major areas, including Los Angeles to the west, Pasadena to the north, and Pomona to the east, making it ideally positioned within the Greater Los Angeles Area.
El Monte’s location gives it access to a range of healthcare resources, from large hospitals to specialized clinics, which are essential for the well-being of its community. About El Monte, California
El Monte is a city in Los Angeles County, California. The city lies in the San Gabriel Valley, east of the city of Los Angeles. El Monte’s slogan is “Welcome to Friendly El Monte” and is historically known as “The End of the Santa Fe Trail”. El Monte is situated between the San Gabriel and Rio Hondo Rivers; a marshy area roughly where the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area is now located. Residents claimed that anything could be grown in the area. Between 1770 and 1830, Spanish soldiers and missionaries often stopped here for respite. They called the area ‘El Monte,’ which in Spanish means ‘the mountain’ or ‘the mount’. Most people assume the name refers to a mountain, but there were no mountains in the valley. The word is an archaic Spanish translation of that era, meaning “the wood”.
