Office Ally is a full service clearinghouse offering a web-based service where providers can submit to Participating Payers for FREE*. Our Online Claim Entry tool allows you to create CMS1500, UB04, and ADA claims on our website; or use your existing software to create and submit claims electronically.

If you can print a claim, you can use Office Ally! Simply put, you send the claims to a file instead of the printer. Then you log into the Office Ally web site and with a few mouse clicks, the file is in our hands.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation immediately and then automatically one hour later, we will notify you that your file has completed processing. We prescrub all fields on the claim & you are able to correct any rejected claims right on our website.

Chronic Care Management for Medicare Fee for Service Patients

CCM Care Team enables practices to bill an average of $42.60 per patient/per month for non-face-to-face care coordination services with minimal provider effort. Monetize your less actively-seen patients. This CMS reimbursed service is an opportunity to drive revenue from your Medicare patients, not just the patients who have an office visit that month. Our experienced care managers develop individualized care plans for each patient and serve as a resource for patients between visits.

Updox Direct Messaging

In the February 2018 release, Office Ally is integrating with a company, Updox, to support our Direct Messaging service. This will require action for our existing Direct Message users who want to continue that service. This includes:

  • Someone from the company completing Identity proofing.
  • Creating a new Direct Address.
  • A Monthly cost of $6.

Updox, the Leading Physician Connectivity Platform, supports the largest network for Direct secure emails with access to more than 250,000 providers. More than 70 EHR partners and HIEs for both ambulatory and acute care platforms selected Updox as their Direct provider.

Updox is a certified HISP (Health Information Systems Program) that specializes in the transfer of secure direct messaging. This allows Office Ally to be part of a direct trust that enables Office Ally users to be in contact with more providers within Updox’ public network. Also for Stage 2 Meaningful Use, health record vendors are required to certify and implement a direct service.

Direct is a technical standard for exchanging health information between health care entities (e.g. primary care physicians, specialist, hospitals, and clinical labs) in a trusted network.

In addition to meeting the requirements for Meaningful Use, Direct secure messaging can now be used to share information with any provider of care that has been approved to have a Direct address. This can include C-CDAs, progress notes, lab results, X-rays, MRI Images, and any other documents or messages.

Now that Office Ally has implemented with Updox for the Direct Service, there is a service charge of $6 a month per direct user. This is due to the cost of supporting this service and to be part of the Direct Trust platform.

At least one representative must go through an identity proofing process to validate the authenticity of the company’s direct users. Each Direct user will then define their new address with the company and sign up for the monthly service agreement.

The activation and cancellation process is all handled through the Office Ally EHR 24/7 application. Users will need access to Manage Office > User Preferences > Direct Service tab to start and cancel the service at any time.

Anyone in the company can obtain a direct address, but it is recommended that Direct is setup for providers and staff that are responsible for the sending and receiving of secure messages that may include PHI material.

You will still be able to view older messages. But until you sign up with the new process you will not be able to reply or forward those messages, as well as send new messages.
