Medical Waste Management ServicesOur Services ensure that every aspect of your Medical Waste Management is covered. We take care of you from the first step to the last. We cover the supplies you will need to responsibly gather the medical waste in your facility. We then continue by collecting the waste, documenting the disposal, treating the waste to ensure proper disposal, and reporting to the State. SUPPLIES
We supply you with approved medical waste containers. We will give you different sizes and sorts of containers to use for different types of waste: pharmaceutical, bio/sharps, trace-chemo and pathological medical wastes. All our medical waste containers are appropriately labeled and marked to make sure your medical waste is segregated properly.
COLLECTION
You decide when this step will take place! At a custom- scheduled time window that you choose, based on your needs, our friendly driver shows up in our truck. All medical waste that is ready for disposal is collected. Proper safety equipment is used. All containers that are he collects are replaced by fresh empty ones. Voila!
DOCUMENTATION
This is also a crucial part of medical waste management! At each collection, State approved tracking documents are signed by both a customer representative and our representative . These tracking documents detail the quantity and type of medical waste that is collected, along with other pertinent information. Carbon copies of the document are also signed at the time of treatment and transfer.
TREATMENT
On the collection day, we bring your medical waste to be treated. Bio/Sharps waste is autoclaved, while pharmaceutical, pathological and trace-chemo waste are incinerated. After each treatment, a certificate of destruction is created. You do not have to worry about your medical waste any more.
REPORTNG
Every month, you receive a statement. A quantity report detailing the dates, types and quantities of waste collected is included in your monthly statement. The statement also includes certificates of medical waste destruction. These reports are also sent to the California Dept. of Public Health, as mandated.
Remember: Everything is done in strict accordance with the rules set forth by the California Dept. of Public Health and all other regulating agencies.
